Our Approach

Use Your Blessings

At Inspire Spaces, we know you want to live in a world where all people have the same opportunities to thrive. You’re motivated to use your blessings to help create positive change you can see and make a real impact.

It All Begins With An Opportunity

Children living in poverty across the globe suffer from a lack of resources that makes it impossible to pursue the education they need to escape the cycles of scarcity into which they are born. These students’ paths are shortened not by a lack of ability  or willpower, but by a cyclical and unjust lack of resources.

Student Centered

In addition to financial assistance, they need the intentional attention of people who believe in their potential, encourage their dreams, and provide examples of an inspiring future for someone just like them. When secondary education is only available to those with the means to afford it, too many deserving children never have the opportunity to fulfill their potential. We believe all children deserve the chance to follow their dreams, whatever they may be.

Locally Connected

Large, multinational NGOs do great work to help marginalized groups. The problem is, these organizations often lack the local connections and follow-through it takes to effect long-lasting change. We do what we do not as members of far-off organizations with no skin in the game, but as Kenyans dedicated to uplifting other Kenyans and closing the opportunity gap. These are our people and our communities, and when one of us succeeds, we all rejoice.

Why It Matters

That’s why we built Inspire Spaces, a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to closing the opportunity gap for young people in Kenya. As former students of Kenyan schools who had the privilege to pursue higher education, we have a deep understanding of the communities we serve and a real stake in their prosperity. When you join Inspire Spaces, you’ll be a vital part of the movement to disrupt the cycles of scarcity and create a new cycle: one where students are empowered to reach their dreams and give back to their communities.
